HONOLULU- Starting from October 28, 2023, Delta Air Lines (DL) is set to introduce a daily nonstop service connecting Tokyo International Airport in Haneda (HND) with Honolulu International Airport (HNL).
This initiative will be followed by the commencement of the Haneda-Honolulu nonstop service on October 29, 2023.
Delta Haneda Honolulu Flights
Remarkably, this marks Delta’s inaugural foray into offering a direct service between Haneda and Honolulu, post the shift of all Tokyo operations from Narita Airport to Haneda in March 2020, a transition hampered by the pandemic’s impact.
Operated using a Boeing 767-300ER, the Haneda-Honolulu flight will encompass a range of seating options, including Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin.
For passengers opting for Delta One, the experience encompasses the comfort of a fully flat-bed seat, coupled with luxury amenities such as artisan-crafted Someone Somewhere amenity kits, plush bedding derived from recycled materials, an extended range of pre-takeoff beverage selections, chef-designed meals, and delectable desserts like customizable ice cream sundaes.
Best Onboard Service
In the interim, passengers traveling in Delta Premium Select will relish a more expansive area for relaxation, facilitated by a broader seat with enhanced reclining capabilities, an adjustable footrest, and a leg rest.
Additionally, they will savor an enhanced dining experience, indulgent hand-crafted amenities, and a dedicated service approach that heightens their travel experience.
Regardless of the chosen cabin, all passengers are treated to seat-back screens presenting a wealth of premium entertainment via Delta Studio and in-seat power outlets.
High-speed Wi-Fi, which is currently offered for a fee, is set to transition to complimentary status by the end of 2024. Additionally, complimentary mobile messaging is available. The airline has partnered with renowned Chef Norio Ueno to curate the Japanese menu offered across all cabins.
Furthermore, eligible travelers can access the Delta Sky Club lounges situated at both Haneda and Honolulu airports, enhancing their pre-flight experience.
