Southwest Airlines Adds New Routes and More Seasonal Flights

DALLAS- Southwest Airlines (WN) revealed additional seasonal services for this upcoming fall as it extends its flight schedule through November 2, 2024. Extra seasonal routes will commence operations starting from October 3, 2024.

The Dallas-based carrier recently embraced a fresh appearance and ambiance with the introduction of redesigned aircraft cabin amenities and interiors that distinctly embody the Southwest® brand.

Southwest Airlines Seasonal Flights

Southwest Airlines® is enhancing accessibility for Tennessee Customers by introducing two new destinations starting in October.

Commencing on Oct. 3, 2024, Southwest® will introduce seasonal nonstop service between Memphis, Tenn., and Las Vegas (operates Thursdays-Mondays).

Effective Oct. 6, 2024, the airline will initiate seasonal nonstop service between Nashville and Richmond, Va. (operates on Sundays).

Furthermore, starting Oct. 5, 2024, seasonal weekend nonstop service will be reinstated between Nashville and Cancun, Mexico.

In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, Customers can gift their loved ones the joy of an international getaway, with several seasonal routes resuming for fall travel. From Oct. 5, 2024, Southwest will recommence seasonal nonstop service on weekends between:

  • Austin, Texas, and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos, Mexico
  • Phoenix and Cancun, Mexico

Further, on that same day, Southwest Airlines will recommence seasonal Saturday service between:

  • Atlanta and Cancun, Mexico
  • San Antonio and Cancun, Mexico
  • Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Montego Bay, Jamaica
  • Kansas City, Mo., and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos, Mexico
  • Sacramento, Calif., and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos, Mexico
