MUMBAI- Are you curious about the top aircraft blessed to airlines and ACMI Provider and Customer airlines worldwide for Summer 2024? By monitoring the worldwide ACMI contracts, ch-aviation was able to outline the status of ACMI flights on March 7th.
This data helps us filter out the most wet-leased aircraft variants along with the Top 15 customers and providers of ACMI service.
ACMI Flights Overview
On March 7, Alliance Airlines operated 130 flights, securing its position as the ACMI Provider with the highest number of flights. Following closely behind was Avion Express Malta with 108 flights, Xfly (Estonia) with 87 flights, CityJet with 79 flights, and Helvetic Airways with 74 flights, completing the top five rankings.
As for ACMI customers, SAS – Scandinavian Airlines topped the list with 166 flights. Alongside SAS were EAT Leipzig (DHL) with 125 flights, Qantas with 118 flights, Swiss International Air Lines with 100 flights, and VivaAerobus with 91 flights, comprising the top five positions.
In terms of aircraft variants, Airbus A320-200 claimed the lead with 420 flights, while Boeing’s 737-800 followed with 127 flights, almost three times less.
