SINGAPORE- The low-cost subsidiary of Qantas Group, Jetstar Asia (3K) launches a direct flight route between Singapore (SIN) and Medan (KNO). Flight 3K285 departs from Changi Airport, establishing Jetstar Asia as the exclusive budget airline for this route.

The airline deploys Airbus A320s for daily flights connecting Changi Airport (SIN) to Kualanamu International Airport (KNO). These flights create 130,000 affordable seats each year for travelers.
