The aircraft, registered N21102, recently completed final pre-delivery flights at Boeing’s Charleston (CHS) facility. A positioning flight to Washington Dulles (IAD) appeared in tracking systems as part of routine pre-delivery operations, though the airline later confirmed delivery had not yet occurred.

Once delivered, the aircraft will operate from United’s San Francisco hub on high-demand long-haul routes, including Singapore and London. These routes attract strong premium demand, making them ideal for the carrier’s newest cabin product.

The delivery also begins a broader fleet modernization plan, with United expecting 30 similarly configured Dreamliners to enter service during 2026 and 2027, Simple Flying reported.
