LUTON- easyJet (U2) has put 18 new routes on sale from 10 UK airports for summer 2027. The new services will connect passengers with destinations across Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Montenegro and Bulgaria.
The new services include Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) to Girona Airport (GRO), London Gatwick Airport (LGW) to Girona, and additional routes from Edinburgh Airport (EDI), Aberdeen International Airport (ABZ), Birmingham Airport (BHX), Bristol Airport (BRS), Manchester Airport (MAN), Newcastle International Airport (NCL), London Luton Airport (LTN) and London Southend Airport (SEN). easyJet says it will be the only carrier offering direct services on 10 of the new routes.
easyJet Expands Summer 2027 UK Route Network
easyJet’s summer 2027 expansion covers 18 new routes and includes 6 new services to Spain. The airline will also add 6 new routes from Scottish airports, with 2 from Aberdeen and 4 from Edinburgh.
Flights on all 18 routes are now available to book through easyJet.com and the easyJet mobile app. Published fares start from £35.48 one way per person, including taxes.
The airline is also offering easyJet holidays packages on all 18 new routes. Packages can be booked with a deposit of £60 per person and include flights and a handpicked hotel. Beach getaway packages also include 23kg of luggage and transfers.
Girona is the new destination highlighted in the summer 2027 expansion. easyJet will operate flights to Girona for the first time from the UK, with services from both Liverpool and London Gatwick.
The Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) to Girona Airport (GRO) service starts on 28 March 2027 and will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. The London Gatwick Airport (LGW) to Girona service starts on 3 June 2027 and will operate 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Girona is located in Catalonia and provides access to the beaches and resorts of the Costa Brava. The destination also offers historic and cultural attractions as well as regional gastronomy.
easyJet will be the only airline offering the Liverpool to Girona route, providing a direct connection between northern England and Girona.
Six New Spain Routes Add Regional Connections
easyJet is expanding its Spain network with new services from Aberdeen, Liverpool and Edinburgh, in addition to the two Girona routes.
Aberdeen International Airport (ABZ) to Barcelona Airport (BCN) launches on 31 March 2027 and will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. easyJet will be the only airline offering the route between Aberdeen and Barcelona.
Aberdeen will also receive a new route to Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) from 3 May. The service will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) to Región de Murcia Airport (RMU) launches on 29 March and will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. easyJet will be the only airline offering the route.
Edinburgh Airport (EDI) to Bilbao Airport (BIO) begins on 30 March and will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Along with Liverpool to Girona and London Gatwick to Girona, these services make up the six new UK to Spain routes announced for summer 2027.
Scotland Gets 6 New Routes
Scotland receives 6 of the 18 new routes, with four from Edinburgh Airport (EDI) and two from Aberdeen International Airport (ABZ).
Edinburgh will add routes to Bilbao Airport (BIO), Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO), Tivat Airport (TIV) and Hamburg Airport (HAM).
The Edinburgh to Tivat route launches on 29 March 2027 and will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays. easyJet is the first airline to offer a route between Edinburgh and Tivat.
The Edinburgh to Hamburg route also starts on 29 March, with flights twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. easyJet will be the only airline offering the route and says the service continues its commitment to Scottish customers.
Edinburgh to Rome Fiumicino launches on 30 March, operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The Edinburgh to Bilbao service also begins on 30 March, with flights twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Aberdeen’s new Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca services provide two additional connections from the airport. easyJet’s UK Country Manager Kevin Doyle said the airline was further strengthening its presence in Scotland, where easyJet says it is already the largest airline.
New Flights to France and Italy
France receives 3 new easyJet routes for summer 2027.
London Gatwick Airport (LGW) to Ajaccio Airport (AJA) starts on 30 June and will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Bristol Airport (BRS) to Montpellier Airport (MPL) begins on 1 July with twice-weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays. Manchester Airport (MAN) to Bastia Airport (BIA), in Corsica, launches on 29 June with flights twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
easyJet will be the only airline offering the London Gatwick to Ajaccio and Bristol to Montpellier routes, as well as the Manchester to Bastia service.
Italy receives 2 new routes. Birmingham Airport (BHX) to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) launches on 29 March with twice-weekly departures on Mondays and Fridays. easyJet will be the only carrier offering the route.
Edinburgh Airport (EDI) to Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) starts on 30 March and will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Montenegro receives two new routes to Tivat Airport (TIV).
Edinburgh Airport (EDI) to Tivat begins on 29 March 2027 with twice-weekly flights on Mondays and Thursdays. Birmingham Airport (BHX) to Tivat launches on 3 May and will also operate twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays. easyJet describes Edinburgh-Tivat as the first airline route between the two airports.
Bristol Airport (BRS) to Burgas Airport (BOJ) in Bulgaria starts on 28 May and will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.
Newcastle International Airport (NCL) to Larnaca International Airport (LCA) launches on 31 March with weekly departures on Wednesdays. easyJet says the new service is part of the continued growth of its Newcastle base.
Greece receives two new routes. London Southend Airport (SEN) to Rhodes Airport (RHO) starts on 27 April and will operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The route is described by easyJet as an exclusive service.
London Luton Airport (LTN) to Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) begins on 1 May with weekly Saturday departures.

easyJet Holidays Offers Packages
easyJet holidays will offer package holidays on all 18 new routes. Customers can book packages with a £60 deposit per person. Every package includes flights and a handpicked hotel, while beach getaways also include 23kg of luggage and transfers.
The package option is available across the full set of destinations included in the summer 2027 route announcement.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said the 18 new routes and package holidays reflect the airline’s commitment to providing customers with more choice from their local UK airports.
He highlighted the 6 new Spanish routes, including Girona for the first time from the UK, and the 6 new routes from Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
He said the new network options cover summer beach holidays, city breaks and travel to new destinations.
The announcement states that easyJet serves 22 UK airports, offering more than 650 routes to 139 destinations from the UK to Europe and beyond.
