DELHI- Tata Group-owned Air India (AI) will add 174 weekly flights across major domestic and short-haul international routes as part of its Northern Winter Schedule starting 26 October 2025. The expansion strengthens connectivity between India’s key metros and popular regional destinations in Southeast Asia.
The enhanced schedule includes new routes and higher frequencies from Delhi (DEL) and Mumbai (BOM) to Jaipur (JAI), Indore (IDR), Bhopal (BHO), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), and Denpasar, Bali (DPS)—aiming to meet strong seasonal travel demand.
Air India Winter 2025 Flights
The airline’s winter expansion focuses on high-demand domestic sectors and short-haul international markets.
On the international side, Delhi–Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and Delhi–Denpasar (DPS) will each rise from seven to ten weekly flights, effective 15 November and 1 December, respectively.
Domestically, Air India (AI) will introduce two new routes from Delhi (DEL)—to Jaipur (JAI) and Jaisalmer (JSA)—with three and two daily flights each.
The airline is also boosting capacity on existing connections, such as Delhi–Udaipur (UDR), Mumbai–Jaipur (JAI), Mumbai–Udaipur (UDR), and Mumbai–Jodhpur (JDH).
Strengthening Regional Connectivity
Flights to Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat will see additional frequencies from 26 October, enhancing travel access for both business and leisure passengers. Key upgrades include:
- Delhi–Indore (IDR): from 3x to 4x daily
- Delhi–Bhopal (BHO): from 2x to 3x daily
- Mumbai–Indore (IDR): from 1x to 2x daily
- Mumbai–Bhuj (BHJ): from 1x to 2x daily
- Delhi–Rajkot (RAJ): from 1x to 2x daily
Additional flights will also operate on routes including Delhi–Varanasi (VNS), Delhi–Raipur (RPR), Delhi–Port Blair (IXZ), and Mumbai–Amritsar (ATQ), ensuring smoother domestic connectivity across India’s secondary cities.
Upgraded Fleet and Passenger Experience
Air India’s (AI) single-aisle expansion aligns with the completion of its A320neo retrofit program launched in September 2024.
Of 27 legacy aircraft, 26 have been refitted with new three-class cabins—Business, Premium Economy, and Economy—to enhance passenger comfort.
The airline now operates over 100 Airbus A320 Family aircraft with modern interiors, serving more than 80 domestic and short-haul international routes. This marks a significant step in Air India’s transformation under the Tata Group, aimed at improving reliability, service consistency, and customer experience.
